🆕 Latest Product - Lovense Spinel

WTF is happening with the Spinel?
#1
Why have Lovense not released the Spinel already??

It seems to have been most of the year since it was available to buy pre-launch.

It is even available at some online shops, but still showing as coming soon on lovense.com

Is there an official release date?

A shop called Scala.

They need to blood hurry up. I need a new Lovense. Feels like ages since they released a brand new toy.

Scala is a B2B store. It is for retailers to buy to sell.

The Lovense Spinel isn't available to buy as a retail customer.

My bad, you're right.

I wondered why it seemed odd that the Lovense website wasn't selling it yet.

Let's hope you're right about it coming out soon.

The Spinel is available at basics4joy.de.

There are no terms or refund policy on that website.

It's not even available on Lovense yet??

And £10 cheaper than Lovense.

Something is fishy.

Hi juicylucylou

The site is legit. It is actually mine and have so far only served Germany and the Netherlands,
we receive our goods from a large supplier in the Netherlands.
I am also surprised that the Spinel seems not to be available anywhere else.

Because of interest in the U.K. (largely in the Spinel) we have expanded a few days ago.

The price in the U.K is so low because it does not include VAT despite the "Tax included" part (a technical issue).
The VAT is to be paid by the customer upon receipt. Please see the "IMPORTANT NOTE FOR U.K. CUSTOMERS"
with each product.

You are right, on the English page the terms and refund policy have not been translated, our bad.
I am going to change that now.

We offer a 100-day refund policy for unused goods, provided that any hygiene seals remain intact.

I hope this allays your justified suspicions.

Is this actually in-stock and available for immediate dispatch?

Who do you pay the VAT to? The delivery guy at the door?

Yes, it is available right now, but stocks are going down fast. Our supplier is the above mentioned Scala.

Payment of VAT upon delivery was the original idea. However, we are now learning about more complications
like import duties for goods made outside the EU etc. Brexit really has made things complicated. So our plan was a bit hasty
and we have stopped availabilty to the UK for the time being.

We are very sorry about that, apologies for all the fuss. Yet, we are still determined to sort this out and come back to the UK properly.

I will post any developments here.

First pay VAT on the doorstep lol then sorry can't sell to UK because of Brexit.

As I said, something fishy.

Thanks for confirming.

Hi juicylucylou

Sorry you still see it that way, but I understand it completely.

We were only trying to help and were a bit too quick to do so.
Only had limited info and did not fully understand the requirements needed to comply with VAT and import tax regulations,
but we are still working on improvement.

Finally! It's taken long enough, but I'm sure the fact it's coming up to Christmas had something to do with it.

I have already added one to my Lovesense wishlist incase anyone wants to spoil me.
