The simple question was brought in by an old episode of 30 Rock where the Jack character meets both a past and future version of himself (there was a gas leak involved). In the last scene with all three versions of Jack one of them asks if they are all going to go have sex with each other. The general answer is yes. So if you met an alternative reality version of yourself, would you have sex with them?
