There's plenty of TENS machines that are far cheaper than e-stim machines, aren't they just the same? I suppose what I am really interested in trying to find out is if I have a set budget, spending that amount on a TENS machine will be better value that spending it on a e-stim machine, or are they not the same machines at all?

I have been reading into this too as there are some really cheap tens machines, but from what I have read the tens just aren't as powerful as they are designed to relax the muscles and get rid of pain, whereas electrostimulation machines do the opposite and stimulate the muscles.
